Tales, Tunes, Tots Program Returns
Kimball Library and Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph are teaming up again to provide a weekly arts program for preschool children ages 3-5, beginning Monday, March 12. Sessions will be held Monday mornings; March 12, 19, and 26, and April 2.
This four-week program begins at 10 a.m. with a 40-minute session at the library for story-time and a craft with librarian Judith Flint. Following this session, students and parents will walk next door to Chandler Music Hall for a snack and a 30-minute hands-on musical experience with musical directors Connie Button and Nancy Taube from 11-11:30 a.m.
This preschool program will be offered free of charge thanks to support from the Lamson Howell Foundation. To register, contact Betsy Cantlin at 802-431-0204 or outreach@chandlerarts.org by March 7. Class size will be limited to 10 students. A parent or guardian will be required to accompany the preschoolers to these sessions. Participants from all area towns are encouraged to attend.
Local organizations, including Kimball Library and Chandler Center for the Arts, are working together to increase and improve music and arts education for youth in the region. These organizations are eager to provide programming to all members of the community, regardless of economic status.
