Local songster and musician Spencer Lewis will perform songs and read from his new book, “Cabin Songs,” this Saturday, Feb. 18, from 7–8:30 p.m. at Sandy’s Books and Bakery on main Street in Rochester.

Published by Woodstone Mountain Press in Bethel-Gilead, the book was released last fall and chronicles Lewis’ early renegade life as he made his way cross-country in the early 1970s and ultimately found his place in Vermont, developing his own unique folk music style along the way. The event is free and open to all.
