Social Media For Business Workshop

The Vermont Tech Enterprise Center business incubator in Randolph will hold a free business workshop Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 5-6:30 p.m. to help build social marketing skills and knowledge.

Participants will learn best practices for tools such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, geo-locations and social buying. This workshop is designed for business owners who want to increase their knowledge of social media tools, put some zip in their marketing with the effective use of social media, and attract more attention. Learn how to help promote word-of-mouth advertising for your business and how to get information about your business out to the right target market to grow your sales and increase your profits.

The presenter, Pat Ripley, is the statewide broadband business advisor for the Vermont Small Business Development Center and the e-Vermont Project. Ripley will show participants how to know which social media outlets are right for them and how to make the best use of them.

This workshop is presented with support from the Town of Randolph through a Community Development Block Grant. To register, call 728- 9101 or e-mail vtec@vtc.edu.
