Add a little romance to your Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. when the Rochester Public Library’s Winter Film series presents a free showing of Woody Allen’s “Manhattan.”

Film critic Roger Ebert describes the film as having “perfect pitch, its tone and timing slip so gracefully between comedy and romance. The opening shot is a stunner, looking west across Central Park at dawn while Gershwin’s ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ makes us feel transcendent. This is one of the best photographed moves ever made.”
