Dustin Roberts of Braintree came by snowmobile to see his grandmother, Mim Herwig, Friday. With a nod to Shakespeare, an icy sidewalk doth make cowards of us all!

Daphne Herwig of East Roxbury called on her mother, Mim Herwig, Saturday.

Stephen Meaney is living with his sister, Barbara Meaney, and Greg Winnie in East Randolph for the rest of the winter.

Midge and Barbara Meaney have been sick, and Barb had to go to the hospital overnight.

Announcement was made at church that two families in the congregation, as Irene flood victims, had received grants from the Vermont Conference of he United Church of Christ.

Robins continue to be seen, also Bohemian waxwings, stripping trees of fruit, and then consuming the fruit of sumacs.
