The center at 6 Hale Street serves lunch Monday-Thursday at noon.
Monday activities include a memoir class in the crafts room and Bingo, both at 10:30 a.m. The “Lift for Life” exercise program is Tuesday Friday at 8:30 a.m. On Tuesday, there is cribbage at 9:30 a.m., mahjongg at 10 a.m., and a memoir class from noon-2 p.m. There are foot clinics the first and second Wednesday of each month, from 10 a.m.-noon. Call 728-9324 to sign up. On Thursday, there is seated yoga at 9:30 a.m. No lunch is served on Friday.
On Thursday, Jan. 26, the center will serve a corned beef dinner with potatoes, carrots, beets, cabbage, whole wheat rolls, and pineapple upside-down cake.
The menu for Monday, Jan. 30 will feature beef stew, cottage cheese with mandarin oranges, biscuits, and chocolate pudding.
On Tuesday, Jan. 31, lunch will include chicken divan, gingered carrots, tossed salad, muffins, and peaches.
The center is looking for retired truck drivers to volunteer to deliver Meals on Wheels in this area. Call the center at 728-9324 for further information.
