Orange County District Court

The following cases were heard Jan. 11 before Judge Harold E. Eaton, Jr., and all defendants were released on conditions unless otherwise noted

Arraignments

Travis L. Perry, 40, of Bradford pleaded innocent to driving under the influence (DUI) on Dec. 23.

Sentencings

Andrew Proof, 45, of Williamstown pleaded guilty to possession of less than two ounces of marijuana on Dec. 15. A charge of simple assault attempted by menace was dismissed by the state. Proof was sentenced to $314 in fines and surcharges.

Samuel Cadwell, 48, of Orford, N.H. pleaded guilty to DUI on July 8. His sentence was deferred for six months.

Jason Clegg, 38, of Randolph Center pleaded no contest to reckless endangerment on Nov. 26. A charge of careless or negligent vehicle operation was dismissed by the state. Clegg was sentenced to serve 17 to 20 days to start on Jan. 18, up to eight hours each day in a furlough community restitution program.

Franklin Driscoll, 32, of Chelsea pleaded guilty to vehicle operation with suspended license, fourth offense, on Nov. 10. The charge was amended to a first offense charge; Driscoll was sentenced to pay $1341 in fines and surcharges.

Robert J. Lancey, 28, of Randolph pleaded guilty to DUI on Dec. 26. He was ordered to pay $761 in fines and surcharges.

John M. Murphy, 21, of Fairlee pleaded guilty to DUI on Nov. 8. A charge of possession of less than two ounces of marijuana was dismissed by the state. Murphy was sentenced to pay $761 in fines and surcharges.
