The newly formed Bethel Parent Teacher Association has elected its first officials and adopted by- laws. On Jan. 4, members elected Amy Duddie, president; Jamie Ra- inville, vice president; Carol Sears, treasurer; and Kate Jarvis, secre- tary.

The PTA meets every first and third Wednesday of the month. Plans to hold a social event each month, starting with a movie night, are pending.

The PTA has received its first check under the national Box Tops for Education program. Parents Tracy Ballou and Amanda Wheller tallied up the box tops collected by community members.
