RUHS Grad Myra Flynn Releases CD to Acclaim
Myra Flynn, a young graduate of Randolph Union High School, is releasing her first CD, “Crooked Measures,” and it is a great one, according to the Times Argus arts correspondent, Art Edelstein.
Flynn could be “headed for national recognition,” he wrote in his review of the CD.
A CD release TV was held last Saturday in Burlington, and another will be held this coming Saturday at the Black Door Bistro in Montpelier.
Flynn will also be part of the 2009-10 concert series at Chandler Music Hall. Her father, Tim Flynn, then of West Brookfield, was the founder of Chandler’s New World Festival.
Edelstein notes that Flynn has been performing for eight years, though she’s only 24; she is also a journalist, having worked for the Burlington Free Press.
The new CD is produced by Colin McCaffrey.
