Birthday Present From His Town
This past Saturday I was celebrating a significant birthday and before it arrived our family considered various options including a trip to Fenway to see the Sox- Yankees or travel to Montreal. We decided, however that we would forego such plans and spend the weekend right here in Randolph and th...

Girls Received Special Treatment
We are writing to you to let you know how we feel about the recent decision made by the school board regarding three students, who we believe are all currently seniors. We feel that as taxpayers, we all deserve to know what is going on in that school system.

Man Singled Out By Local Police
This is a plea to the citizens of Randolph who would scorn someone who is different from them: open your hearts. This is also a plea for the Randolph police: take sensitivity training.

Innocent But Assumed Guilty
All I have to say is this: why do we live in such a time where people have to assume before they can ask their neighbors if they are in fact doing something when they are not? I live in a little apartment building on Forest Street, and on May 30, myself and my spouse were accused of smoking marij...

Village Milking Its Cash Cows
Town government is supposed to provide a needed service to the people of their respective town. This concept appears to be lost on the Randolph selectboard. 'Being Here Is Fabulous'
It is hard for me to express my feelings now. Ten months in Vermont passed so fast. I feel so sad when I have to say the word "goodbye" to the people here, especially my host families- Nora Skolnick and her family, Shirley Stewart and her family, John & Gretchen Kidder and family and Jay & Mary Ka...

She Would Love To Have a Pond
Re, "Ponds Destroyed" in the May 31 Herald- I would love to have a pond, just for my grandchildren's enjoyment. It would be well worth the $150 a year. I would have fire protection. I am certain I would enjoy washing the wild animals and having fish in the ponds for my grandchildren.
