An Opportunity For Learning

To some people, life in Japan is as foreign and far away as any other country on the other side of the planet. But to many of us in the Randolph area, for the past 21 years that our middle school students have been exchanging visits with students in Shizukuishi, Iwate, Japan, it has felt much closer.

I’m sure I follow tech news more closely than most of you, but I bet everyone has noticed the steady increase in hacking reports. What strikes me isn’t just the frequency, but the size of the targets. It’s incredible that credit card processors and even the Utah Department of Health have been compromised and sensitive information stolen.
