Dust Off the Dancing Shoes

Until last year, it had been 13 years since Jeanne and the Hi-tops had played together. However, a longing fan requested they headline the popular Barnard Streetdance, a gig they hadn’t played since 1995, and their reunion show last year was a big hit. Come see them again this year at the 14^th annual Barnard Streetdance Saturday, Aug. 9, between the Barnard General Store and Silver Lake. Festivities begin at 2 p.m. with children’s games, and the band starts at 7 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes, or your bare feet, along with your family and your appetite, because the Barnard General Store will also host a huge barbecue on the lawn. In case of rain, the concert will take place at the Barnard Town Hall. (Provided)
