Vermont Needs

Jessica’s Law

Vermont is one of seven states that has not yet passed Jessica's law, which requires a mandatory 25-year sentence for child sexual predators. If we continue to hold out on Jessica's Law, whether we believe this law to be just or not, I believe that over time, it will encourage a fairly large migration of sexual deviates to Vermont from those states that have already enacted the law. I can see the Internet traffic now; "Hey guys, move to Vermont. You'll get off easy if you get caught."

Let's pass Jessica's Law and keep these guys out of Vermont.
