Built in 1823, the Old Christ Church at Gilead Brook between Randolph and Bethel, has been virtually untouched most of that time and is one of the most photographed sites in the White River Valley. This past March the United States Park service added it to the National Register of Historic Places. It is closed in the winter but has regular services in the summer. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
