News of Area Students

Jenny Moltz. daughter of George and Lynn Moltz of Rochester, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Vermont for spring 2008 semester. She will be a sophomore there in the fall, majoring in animal science and planning minors in nutrition and chemistry.

Sarah Paquette, daughter of Tom and Terry Paquette of Rochester, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine.

Matilda R. Urie of Brookfield, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., where she is majoring in mechanical engineering.

Kristopher David Minsinger of Randolph Center, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa., where he is a sophomore.

Eric E. Vande Griek of Randolph Center, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2008 semester at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., where he is majoring in engineering.

Adelie E. Mascoveta of Chelsea (05038), class of 2009 was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Connecticut College in New London, Conn., where she will be a senior in the fall.

Jessica Lynn Durfee of Bethel was named to the president's list at Bentley College in Waltham, Mass., where she is a senior majoring in marketing.

Tessa McCullough, daughter of Dan and Cathy McCullough of Bethel, graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in film May 19. While at UVM, she wrote for the local snowboarding magazine, YoBeat, while also attending many important events for the US snowboarding industry.

Norwich U. Graduates

The following area students received degrees from Norwich University at a May 11 commencement ceremony:

Daniel Paul Gauthier of Bethel. computer engineering; Jolee Virginia Griffin of Bethel, sports medicine health science; Melissa Alyce Russ of Bethel, nursing; and Anthony Clegg Parker of Chelsea, mechanical engineering.
