News of Area Students

Dori Marie Baker, daughter of Ronald and Carri Baker of Bethel, graduated from Saint Michael’s College May 15, with a bachelor of arts degree in history, magna cum laude.

Rachel Childs Miller, daughter of Albert and Rebecca Miller of Braintree, graduated from Saint Michael’s College May 15, with a bachelor of arts degree in English literature.

Emily Ellis, daughter of David Ellis and Ann Greenawalt of South Royalton, was named to the Dean’s List at SUNY Cortland in Cortland, N.Y. A graduate of South Royalton High School, she is majoring in musical theater.

Abigail Flint, daughter of Karl and Carol Flint of East Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List at Chester College of New England in Chester, N.H. A graduate of RUHS, she is majoring in photography.

Erik D. Russell of Tunbridge graduated May 18 from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. with a bachelor’s degree in history.

Castleton State College

Angela Carpenter of Sharon was named to the President’s List for the spring 2008 semester at Castleton State College, where she is majoring in Physical Education.
