I am writing to express appreciation for the work of two men who will be leaving the Randolph area next week. Robert Borden is retiring from the Central Vermont Council on Aging as ombudsman for the Randolph area. His office has been in the Randolph Senior Citizens Center, where over the years I acquired a personal friendship and admiration for his professional talent and dedication to service for others. Thanks, Robert. Christopher Picarello, a young man on the way up, has served the past two years at Patrick’s Place Restaurant in addition to completing his first year of study at VTC. The work ethics and dedication to serving others have impressed everyone and he will be missed. To Robert Borden, the "seasoned veteran," we wish him and his wife happy traveling and good reading. To Christopher Picarello, the upcoming "young champion" and future of America, we wish him and others in like circumstances God speed in their future lives.
