Friendly Town
Is Appreciated

I think we have some wonderful people living in our town.

I have a daycare on School Street. The street has been being worked on for a water leak. The town workers would stop and talk to the children, would wave, and say hi as they walked by.

One day the children wanted to go to where the "big diggers" were digging. So we loaded up the wagon and took hands, and walked to the park where the men were working. We stayed a safe distance away from the men and their equipment. But one of the men took two of the boys by the hand, and took them to the hole they had been digging, and showed them the water in the hole, and told them how the men were going to fix the leak. This, I thought, was above the call of duty. Thank you to all the road crew.

Another occasion, about two years ago, I went to the ATM in Randolph to make a deposit. I took out my wallet, and put the envelope in the machine. I then went to the Holiday Beauty Salon for my appointment. About an hour later, I looked for my wallet and it wasn’t there. I panicked. I thought I had lost everything. The officer told me the man who found it didn’t even open it; he just turned it in. All my possessions were still in it. Thank you for being an honest citizen and returning my wallet to me.

The train passes by the fenced in area I have for the children every day in the afternoon. The children look forward to the train, because the engineer always waves as he goes by.

Thank you so much for the good, kind, thoughtful, and loving people of Randolph.
