RUHS Alum Nathan Brady Crain
Brings His Show Back Home

After a couple of years making his living on the road as a singer-songwriter and standup comedian, RUHS class of 1988 alumnus Brady (Nathan Brady Crain) has decided to take a break from the road and settle back in Randolph.

On Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m., Brady returns to his first stage, bringing his family-friendly show of acoustic Americana music to the RUHS Murray auditorium.

A state-hopping veteran troubadour of the college and resort circuits, Brady brings a battery of guitars to bear on an arsenal of influences that include Albeniz, the Beatles, Big Bill Broozy, Greg Brown, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Jim Croce, Bob Dylan, Granados, both Guthries, Sean Harkness, the Indigo Girls, Robert Johnson, Kris Kristofferson, Chris Lowe, Willy Nelson, Harry Nilsson, Michelle Shocked, James Taylor, and Dave VanRonk.

A prolific songwriter, Brady’s compositions meander easily through the genres of folk, old country, blues, bluegrass, country blues and ragtime while occasionally flirting with jazz, classical, and flamenco styling.

Tickets will be available at the door.
