News of Area Students

Benjamin Crosby of Randolph, was named a Faculty Scholar in the field of history at Hartwick College, in Oneonta, N.Y. He is a 2005 graduate of RUHS.

Emily Crosby of Randolph, graduated cum laude from Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y., where she majored in technical theater. She is a 2004 RUHS graduate.

Chelsea A. Brown of Bethel was named to the Dean’s List for the second semester at Lyndon State College in Lyndonville.

Emma Zavez, daughter of Maryann Zavez of Randolph Center and Mark Di Stefano of Randolph, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College in Richmond, Ind., May 3. Zavez majored in history and received college and departmental honors.

Emily Malanchuk, daughter of Thomas and Sandra Malanchuk of Randolph Center, graduated May 10 from the University of New England graduate

program with a Doctorate in physical therapy. A member of the National Omicron-PSI honor society, she received the APTA

Student Scholarship Award, and was elected to Who’s Who among students in American universities and colleges. At an awards banquet May 9, she received the Outstanding Student in the Department award from the UNE Department of Physical Therapy, one of only four awards given. She plans to continue to live and work in the Portland, Maine area.
