Whitcomb Track’s
U-32 Meet Results

The Whitcomb High School track team was at U-32 on May 9 to perform under the wonderful spring sunshine. The girls’ team had a great meet, scoring 29 points overall and placing sixth.

Meredith Kill came in eighth in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, and fourth in the 400-meter dash. Mikayla Dieffenbach placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and first in both the long jump and high jump.

June Claughton placed ninth in the 800-meter run, tenth in the 1500-meter run, and sixth in the long jump. Brittany Flint placed ninth in the long jump and competed in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.

For the boys’ team Peter Burgos placed sixth in the 1500-meter run and placed eighth in the 3000-meter run, gaining a personal best in the 3000-meter. Clemens Garve placed ninth in the 400-meter dash and performed in the shot put. Donald Harrington placed fifth in the high jump, eighth in the long jump, and ninth in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.
