In the Schools

     Rochester school during class time has no parent input, to help children learn. The reason is because most of the parents are out working, trying to keep up with high school taxes.

     More than 15,000 passenger vehicle occupants died in traffic crashes between the nighttime hours of 6 p.m. and 5:59 a.m. during 2006, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration—and 64% of those motorists were not wearing their seat belts at the time of the fatal crashes.

Student Raises
Money for Sudan

     This coming Saturday, May 17, there will be a spaghetti dinner at the Braintree Town Hall in Braintree on route 12A. All proceeds will go to the New Sudanese Education Initiative, an organization that is run out of Burlington by Mari Wright and some of the "Lost Boys of Sudan.
