Moose on the Loose!

Moose have been out and about in Rochester lately, and photographers snapped two photos for this week’s Herald.

This one, snapped by photographer Jeff Mather of Rochester found one kneeling to enjoy a solitary breakfast in a field on Bethel Mountain Road early one morning.

The Herald’s print edition also has a photo submitted by Gordon Merrill, who caught an apparently both literate and law-abiding trio of moose appearing to be following directions as they crossed the road at the "Moose Crossing" sign posted near the Frigault property.
