News of Area Students

Allison H. Diehlmann of Tunbridge spent her spring break from St. Lawrence University of Canton, N.Y., volunteering with a community-based education program in New Orleans, La., as part of the university’s first-year program. She is a graduate of the Sharon Academy.

Lynn Katherine Symonds, daughter of Peter and Andrea Symonds of Sharon, studied Latin in Rome, Italy during her spring 2008 term at Dartmouth College, as part of the college’s language study abroad program.

Emily Ellis, daughter of Ann Greenawalt and David Ellis of South Royalton, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2007 semester at State University of New York College at Cortland, where she is majoring in musical theater.

Michael D. Hogan of Randolph has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
