Creative Way To Help a Friend

The destruction of a friend’s home by fire has led a Randolph sixth grader to find innovative ways to help.

Haddie Lary has written VTC to request that her membership at SHAPE be transferred to the Aronson family, whose home burned to the ground last month. Sascha Aronson is a good friend, Haddie explained.

Haddie is also holding a one-person swim-a-thon at the VTC pool and is collecting pledges to benefit the Aronsons.

Upon receiving her request, VTC President Ty Handy wrote right back:

"Haddie, you should be commended on your creativity, compassion and for being such a wonderful neighbor. The Aronsons are lucky to know you."
