Juliette Corriveau

ROCHESTER—Juliette A. Corriveau, 80, died March 26, 2008, at the Alice Peck Day Extended Care Center in Lebanon, N.H., after a long illness.

She was born April 20, 1927 in Richford, the daughter of Valmore and Alma (Fontaine) Martin. She graduated from Richford High School in 1945 and married Patrick L. Corriveau in January 1947.

She worked for several years as a telephone operator in Burlington, before going to work in the cafeteria at the National Life Insurance Company in Montpelier.

She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Ted and Philip Martin; and a sister, Cecile Kinsley.

Survivors include two sons, Patrick Corriveau of Barre, and Bruce Corriveau of Wolcott; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including her long time caregiver, Jackie Simpson of Norwich; and a special friend, Everett Bettis of Hancock.

A private graveside service will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Duxbury at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. assisted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Park House, 16 Park Row, Rochester, Vt. 05767.
