Historical Society To Hear History Of The Herald
The Bethel Historical Society will host a near neighbor at its monthly meeting this Sunday, April 6.

Herald editor Dick Drysdale will offer a brief history of The Herald, which has been part of the White River Valley scene since 1874. It has also been responsible for publishing several books of local history during that period.

Dick will also speak on the colorful history of Chandler Music Hall. He is the principal author of the new history of Chandler, "Not a Bad Seat in the House."

The meeting is at 4 p.m. Sunday at 245 Main Street in Bethel.
