Centennial Local Artists Show
Opening at Chandler Gallery

The Chandler Gallery’s new exhibit, "The Centennial Local Artist Show," will kick off with a public reception this Saturday, April 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the gallery on Main St. in Randolph.

In order to mark Chandler’s 100^th birthday, 100 local and regional artists were invited to participate in this celebration by submitting one piece each of their artwork. Art forms of all mediums have been accepted, which should pique the interest of any and all art lovers, no matter what the level of art appreciation. Painting, sculpture, photography, woodwork and fabric art are just a sampling of what will be on display.

The exhibit will continue through May 11. Gallery hours are Thursday from 4-6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 p.m., or by appointment.

The public is urged to stop by to view the works of the many great artists who are a part of "our Vermont."
