Hancock Bd. Approves New Figure for Re-Vote The following summary of the March 17 meeting of the Hancock School Board was written from minutes submitted to The Herald. Present at the meeting were board members Jill Jesso-White, Rob Deering, and Dan Perera, and school staff Peg Booth, Mary Sue Crowley and Tracey Englehardt. Audits of WNWSU and Hancock books were discussed and questions the board had about the budget were answered in an e-mail from Supt. Tim Mock. The proposed 2008-09 school year budget was discussed and reduced by $5,150. A final figure of $816,045 was voted on and accepted by the board. The board also voted to put a second article regarding the proposed water purification system on the warning for the special meeting, which will take place Tuesday, April 29. The next regular meeting of the Hancock School Board will be Monday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. to prepare for the special school meeting. The next regular meeting of the Village School Board will be Wednesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at the Granville School. ____________ |
