Exchange Students Speak;

Streeter Honored April 3

The RUHS International Club and the American Association of University Women will jointly host an April 2 event, featuring presentations by two exchange students and the honoring of an outstanding woman in the community.

Christoph Respondek, a Rotary exchange student from Germany, and Alice Astegianno, an AFS student from Italy, are attending RUHS for this year. They will speak about their countries and their lives as exchange students in Vermont. Also at the 7 p.m. event, the AAUS will present its "Women in Charge" award. Often the recipient of this award has given a lifetime of service to Randolph through various community initiatives, including the exchange programs, which have such a longstanding record here.

This year’s honoree is Ellie Streeter, known to many for her extensive and generous service to this community.

The evening will conclude with refreshments prepared by the international cuisine class at RUHS.
