Youth Wrestling

Youth wrestling for the area is being held Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6-7 p.m. The event is held at Randolph Union High School in the cafeteria for children kindergarten through sixth grade.

Everyone in central Vermont is welcome, not just the Randolph area. Saturday tournaments are every Saturday starting March 8. Call Coach Joe Dezan at 728-3939 if you have questions or need more information.

The Youth Wrestlers went to the Bellows Falls Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 25. The tournament was held for grades K-6 with the fifth and sixth graders qualifying for the New England Tournament.

Luke Dezan took first place in the K-2 grades for Randolph, Jade Ellas placed fifth, and Jacob Potwin placed fourth. Taliesin Doyle placed fourth in the third-fourth-grade class. In the fifth and sixth grade class, Deryk Doyle and Tyler Potwin placed fourth.

The youth wrestlers will go to the Otter Valley tournament in Brandon on Saturday, March 8.
