Brookfield School Board Candidate

I am writing this letter to ask for support to the Brookfield School Board so I may offer my experience and service.

Educated as an engineer, my work now centers on managing the operations for a national solar company. In this role I routinely prepare and monitor budgets, evaluate capital expenditures, implement actions to support strategic plans, communicate direction and expectations to personnel, and encourage continuous improvement for the organization.

My Brookfield school experience centers on having my oldest daughter in the elementary school and volunteering in the school. As a volunteer, I have helped organize and run the after-school X-C skiing program for four years, and volunteered to work with students on their project for engineer’s week.

As my wife and I own and operate a vegetable farm, I am certainly aware of the property tax burden we all share. Nevertheless, I believe our school and the students I have gotten to know are a vital asset to Brookfield. I relish the opportunity to help in keeping it that way.
