Don’t Abandon
Current Building

Why would the voters of Randolph be hoodwinked into exchanging an attractive, centrally-located town office building for part of an old warehouse on a back street? Money saving? That could easily be accomplished if reasonable plans were given to any one of our good local contractors.

I am sure the building process would not be the long drawn-out horrible time described in the recent Randolph Herald article.

I remember when the present office was built new and the townspeople were rightfully proud of it. To throw it out now for such a poor choice and poor planning is unforgivable. The present location is convenient with plenty of good parking. Parking on the back street is often difficult, shared by other businesses.

Let’s hear the people in favor of the present location make a little noise, giving their thoughts and reasons!

The recent vote should have been accepted with no question. The voters made a legitimate choice.

Our town in central Vermont should continue to have an office building with green space, a building of which we can be proud and completely own. I hope all the voters who favor the present location will turn out and be heard!
