Will Committee Overlook Facts?

The recent announcement by Condoleezza Rice of the establishment of an oversight committee to examine the political use of oil is laughable in its hypocrisy. Unless this committee's first area of scrutiny be the country for which Ms. Rice is a politically appointed mouthpiece, this committee should be renamed the Overlook Committee.

The level to which this administration sinks in its attempts to mislead the American people knows no bounds. Apparently one is expected to forget that within very recent memory we overthrew a government and remain within that country as an army of occupation primarily for its oil resources.
