Nina Perrin-Tucker

SOUTHBRIDGE, MASS.—Nina D. (Hammond) Perrin-Tucker, 80, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at her home.

She was born in Randolph, the daughter of Alec and Marion (Kerry) Hammond, and graduated from Randolph High School.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards. She was known for her self-taught cake making, and enjoyed traveling to New York and Vermont. She particularly enjoyed traveling to Walt Disney World in Florida with her daughter Pat and grandchildren.

Her first husband, Robert L. Perrin, died in 1972. Her second husband, Richard W. Tucker, died in 1989. She was also predeceased by a brother, Alvin Hammond; and a granddaughter, Melissa Lamica.

Survivors include her children: Patricia A. Lamica and her husband, Rossin, of Hazel Green, Ala.; Carol C. Trinque and her husband, Denis, of Southbridge, Mass.; Varrell M. Perrin of Southbridge, Mass.; Louis J. Perrin of Thompson, Conn.; and Reggie G. Perrin of New York; five brothers and sisters: Robert Hammond, Richard Hammond, William Hammond, Nancy Bertrand and Margaret McDonald, all of upstate New York; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves several relatives in Vermont, including many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 4 at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home in Southbridge, Mass.
