Vermont Philharmonic, Choral Groups
Perform Sunday on Chandler Stage

The Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Lou Kosma, will take the stage at Chandler this Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

The program opens with Symphony #3 by American composer Roy Harris. Following is a movement from Haydn’s Concerto for Violin and Strings, with Owen Kevra as the young soloist.

Following intermission, the program features the spectacular J.S. Bach’s Magnificat, with the VPO and the well-known Vermont choral groups, Northsong of Newport, directed by Anne Hamilton, and Sounding Joy! of Randolph, directed by Marjorie Drysdale.
