J. Fresolo-Renner

BROOKFIELD—Janell M. Fresolo-Renner, 45, of Brookfield, died Tuesday morning, January 29, 2008 at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

Her family says that she left this life with the same grace and dignity as she lived it. Her courage, resiliency, strength, strong will and determination to survive cancer against all odds was admired by all who loved her and cared for her.

She was born March 1, 1962 in Montpelier, the daughter of Michael J. and Clarice (McManus) Fresolo. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1980, and lived in Randolph Center before moving to Brookfield in 1994. She had been a waitress at the Three Stallion Inn of Randolph, and an office administrator for the Eustis Cable Company of Brookfield. She was a stained glass artist and operated the Afterglow Stained Glass Studio from her home.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Renner, and her daughter, Emma Jane Renner, both of Brookfield; her mother, Clarice Fresolo of Montpelier; and sisters: Cecile Pacini of Williamstown, Susan Fresolo of Montpelier, Pamela Fresolo of Odessa, Fla., and Lisa Thurston, and her husband, Rick, of Montpelier.

She was predeceased by her father, and her brother, Sgt. Michael J. Fresolo, Jr. USAF.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Feb. 3 from 2-4 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions in her memory may be made to Gifford Medical Center, Attn. Pam Fournier, P.O. Box 2000, Randolph, Vt. 05060.

Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home.
