Misunderstanding
Regarding Snow

It appears that after inquiring as to who plowed the parking lot behind the Bank and the Herald where senior citizens from Red Lion Inn have reserved parking, I made the assumption that the Town of Randolph was responsible for plowing the whole parking lot.

While the Town of Randolph does plow back there, it does not plow the particular row of the parking lot that is reserved for the seniors from Red Lion Inn.

My apologies if I have offended anyone, it was not intentional, nor was that my purpose when I initially wrote the letter. My concern was and still is for the senior citizens who are unable to get their cars out of the parking area due to the high snow banks left behind their vehicles after the snow plow has done its job.

There may not be a solution to this problem; however, it seems to me that something could be done to help the seniors shovel out their cars after the plow has gone through and blocked them in. I keep asking myself what has happened to just plain old caring and helping one another out without expecting something in return. I know there are many people who do help without being asked and I only wish we could clone those individuals as they unfortunately can't be everywhere at once.

Again, I apologize for offending anyone with my previous letter. I was simply hoping that someone would care enough to reach out and help our senior citizens.
