Fears Two
Chelsea Dogs

For over three years I have alerted the town agents in Chelsea of a problem with two unleashed dogs intimidating women and children.

One dog catcher stepped down. Selectones changed places. The town clerk accuses me of harassment when I ask her to do something. She tells the treasurer. The treasurer tells her that I should write a letter of complaint to the present dog catcher.

I have called the dog catcher over 19 times. Once she returned my call saying there was a confidential investigation and she couldn’t tell me why the dogs were still loose.

I have written the selectones and sent a photograph of dogs on sidewalk. My letter was not answered. This then is an open letter to the Chelsea dog catcher.

For over three years I have been unable to be in my garden.

Dog waste abounds on my land even though I have no dog.

I am unable to invite my children and grandchildren to visit.

I need to time my visits to the local store and the Post Office. I am unable to use the local bank

Others find the dogs friendly, however, they have bitten two people (one the town clerk’s son).

What’s up?
