New Sign, But
Same Company

In September 2003, Clifford of Vermont was acquired by Power & Telephone Supply Company, headquartered in Memphis, Tenn. At that time, Clifford became part of our domestic operations serving the communications industry. Recently, you may have noticed that the sign at our Route 107, Bethel, office building was changed to the parent company logo. We may have a new sign, but we are still the same folks that many of you have known through the years.

Power & Tel is a worldwide independent distributor of material to the telecommunications and cable TV industries. Our Clifford of Vermont Group sells and distributes wire, cable, and installation supplies primarily to electrical and low-voltage contractors, IMSA traffic signal contractors and municipalities, and industrial facilities. Within the Power & Tel organization, the Clifford sales team is also charged with providing networking solutions for businesses and universities.

The blending of the two companies has brought valuable additional resources to serve all of our customers. We have larger quantities of materials on hand; expanded selection of products; more warehouse facilities throughout North America; and technical assistance for innovative solutions. All of this means we can achieve our mission of being our customers’ most cost-effective way to have the right materials at the right place at the right time, every time.

Our sign may have changed; however, the same friendly and knowledgeable people are still in place providing exceptional customer service. The Clifford of Vermont brand name that was established in 1946 and is so well respected will be maintained.
