I have just begun a new dentist-patient relationship. Having known Chris Wilson for many years, he was tagged to be my new dentist at the point I could give up the group in my former town, which has served may family for 40 years. Spending $80 on gas to get my teeth cleaned, so I could visit old friends or family, had to stop. Dr. Wilson has taken dentistry to a level I had never imagined. The reason is his interest in the whole picture, the "why" factor above and beyond the "how " expertise. I learned far more during my first evaluation appointment than I realized could be known. Dr. Wilson’s assistant, Sheila, took pictures of my entire mouth and jaw from every angle. Discussion was a collaborative exercise with teaching, listening and suggesting. Dr. Wilson took the time to foster teamwork that we hope our medical advisors will take. I was asked in what ways my teeth mattered to me. I wasn’t "done to," I was "worked with." The office staff and the physical plant are pleasant, relaxed, organized, and professional. And Dr. Wilson loves his work. In upcountry Vermont versus fancy "north of Boston," I am in good hands.
