•Thrift shop run by the Women’s Alliance, Friday, 4:30-6:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 noon; Federated Church, Main St., Rochester. Proceeds benefit local charitable programs.

•Peavine Trail Holiday Sale Fundraiser, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the new Made in Vermont Marketplace, Stockbridge/Rochester town line, Rte. 100.

Sunday, Dec. 16

•Panacake Breakfast, 8-9:30 a.m., Federated Church, Main St., Rochester. There is no charge for the breakfast, but donations benefit pastor’s discretionary fund.

•31st Annual South Royalton Community Christmas Pageant, the Christmas story presented live outdoors on the village green, 7 p.m., beginning outside the United Church.
