Shirley Tickell

BARNARD- Shirley Marie Bruch Tickell, 80, formerly of Branford, Conn., died November 25, 2007 in Okeechobee, Fla. 

She was a member of The Silver Lake Progressive Club and attended Silver Lake Chapel in Barnard. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, John Bruch and Robert Bruch. 

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Arthur J. Tickell; and her children, Dolly Tickell of Gulfport, Fla.; Christian and his wife, Beverly Tickell, of Virginia Beach, Va.; Kurt and his wife, Denise Tickell, of Branford, Conn.; and Cynthia Tickell of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Evelyn B. Norman of Hamden, Conn.; and Lois B. Madsen of West Haven, Conn.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as her extended family and caregivers, Wes and Nancy Johnson of Hartland, and Beverly and Ted Ward of Barnard.
