Stephen Marchuk

LARGO, FLA.—Stephen "Steve" M. Marchuk, 57 died November 20, 2007 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park, Fla.

He was born in New Brusnwick N.J. and moved to Largo in 1997 from Bethel. He worked at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Hanover, N.H., then retired as a refrigeration expert and maintenance worker at Gull Harbor Condominiums in Redington Shores, Fla., after nine years.

He was an expert pool shooter at Sundown Tavern and enjoyed fresh water fishing, hunting and camping.

Survivors include his daughter, Jodi Marchuk, and step-son Jamie Smart, both of Woonsocket, R.I.; parents, Walter and Elizabeth Marchuk of Largo, Fla.; brother, Kenny Marchuk of Gibsonton, Fla.; and grandchildren, Baily Marchuk and Kyleigh Marchuk, both of Woonsocket, R.I.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., CLW 33760.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, with a gathering of friends following at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo, Fla.
