About a month ago I asked The Herald to put my article in their paper about the wonderful charity, Operation Christmas Child.

As a result, some people participated who had never done so before. The number of shoe boxes was up this year, and there was an increase in donations toward the shipping.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, I delivered 35 boxes to the collection point in Barre. Thank you to everyone who became involved. As Christmas approaches, may your heart be warmed by the thought of your special child and the joy you sent his/her way.
