The Herald of Randolph wishes Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

Thanksgiving day itself this year was more than a little chilly and more than a little damp. A surprise snowstorm Tuesday dumped 2-4 inches of snow throughout the White River Valley, raising the enthusiasm of hunters and skiers alike.

After a particularly warm and sunny fall and November, early winter made a firm appearance, as temperatures stayed just above or below the freezing point while families gathered for the annual feast.
