Perrin Is 105 Years Young!

Windover House resident Mary Perrin celebrated her 105^th birthday November 3, with visits from family members and friends.

The former Mary Collins was raised in Strafford. She attended high school in South Royalton, but caring for her ailing parents necessitated a two-year sabbatical from her high school studies as she also helped take care of her younger siblings.

After graduation, she taught school for one year before marrying Llewellyn Perrin, also a graduate of South Royalton High School. Together, the couple raised two sons, Donald and Robert.

Widowed in 1984, Perrin has a positive attitude and enjoys keeping track of her large family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She has lived at Windover House since 1998.
