Chelsea Girls Advance To Semis

The Chelsea girls’ soccer team advanced in the playoffs, with a game that went scoreless from regulation to the second half of eight on eight, for 113 minutes! Both teams had opportunities during the game to score; however due to excellent goal-keeping from both goalies, the game remained at zero.

It wasn't until midway through the second eight-on-eight, that a goal was scored. Samantha Bonasera carried the ball from one side of the field to the other 18, and crossed the ball to Whitney Ladd, who buried the ball in the right side of the net, beating the goalie.

Williamstown ends the season with an 8-7 record while Chelsea advances to the next round facing Rochester.
