Chelsea Boys End With a Loss

The Chelsea boys’ soccer team traveled to Black River and left with a 6-0 loss. Chelsea, seeded 13^th, faced off against the sixth seeded Black River.

Chelsea, only playing with 10 players, went into survival mode, clearing the ball whenever they had to. Fifteen minutes into the half, however, the Presidents opened up with a 1-0 lead. From that point on they continued to score, with tallies from Bobby Rohrig and Kyle Ahlers. Rohrig had three goals and Ahlers had two goals and two assists.

Chelsea ends the season with a 4-10-1 record, and Black River advances to the second round playing Long Trail.
