Teachers Deserve Their Advocates

The N.E.A. is an advocacy group for the teachers and pupils and, therefore, the parents and citizens of Vermont.

It would appear ironic that in the same paper we learn about one, who definitely needs to have strong advocacy, a struggling artisan, Clinton Button, trying to save the arts and crafts industry of the U.S. from the destruction of globalization and its outright give-away to China of $100 million.

Strange that the state that prohibited slavery in its constitution in the first place now is having its art replaced and industry and treasure sent to a slave country—China.

I’ll bet Mr. Ed Koren, who was in the same issue of the paper, could come up with one very good comment on this situation.

Therefore, I wouldn’t agonize too much about Vermont being injured by an educational advocacy group.
